Writer Samah Abu Bakr Ezzat said that the political leadership’s interest in children in the “Decent Life” initiative aims to develop and raise awareness of the families and villages most in need.
She emphasized during her hosting of the “Ninth” program, broadcast on Channel One, that interest in the child exists on the ground and is not transmitted words, continuing: “I touch it when I visit any village, where I return from it and I am very happy because of the children’s thinking and their thirst to listen and express their opinion and dream.” ».
Ezzat added that she is keen to listen to every child, continuing: “I remember a child in which I told him, ‘What did you do for a decent life?’” He said a sentence that surprised me: It made us know how to love each other. Our children are a treasure.
She explained that the “Noura” series, scheduled to be shown in Ramadan 2024, will address many problems in a dramatic form, including early marriage of girls, financial education, illegal immigration, and electronic blackmail, continuing: “The series will deliver messages through the story of an Egyptian girl in which every girl will see herself.”
She continued: “I was honored to supervise the dramatic content of the Noura series, and the work was written by the talented young author Mohamed Adly, and Noura is a work I am proud of, because in conjunction with the political leadership’s launch of the Egyptian Family Development Project, it is necessary to pay attention to the elements of this family, and the National Council for Women launched the Noura Program under the sponsorship of Mrs. Intisar El-Sisi, wife of the President of the Republic, who always supports Egyptian women and girls.”
She continued: “The goal of the Noura program is to empower girls, especially in the villages sponsored by the Decent Life Initiative, and thus the series expresses the Egyptian girl and is an icon for her.”
